It can be recognized by its yellow to golden-yellow opaque color, which sometimes shows a reddish-golden hint. The Golden Delicious is an apple with green-yellow to cream-colored, firm and very juicy flesh. Depending on the color and time of harvest, it tastes sweet-aromatic and fine-sour to watery.
